Santa’s Fire Truck is Coming to Town!

The West Sacramento Fire Department, in conjunction with the West Sacramento Firefighter’s Association, presents the annual “Santa Run” through West Sacramento neighborhoods.

With the help of many off-duty firefighter “elves,” Santa will be riding through various streets upon a decorated fire truck “sleigh” and handing out candy canes—donated by the West Sacramento Firefighter’s Association. Additionally, Santa will have a pickup truck following his “sleigh” with helpers collecting any canned food donations for those in need.

Did you know that there are over 125 volunteer chaplains in Sacramento county who, among many other both proactive and reactive events, respond to emergencies throughout Sacramento county 24/7?

There are some who continue to respond even without a job. By bidding on these gorgeous holiday trees, you are helping us help the community by providing gas cards to very appreciative chaplains.
