Old Sac Underground Tours Offers Expanded Holiday Schedule & Extends Season | Arts & Culture
Looking for something fun and unique to do with friends and relatives this holiday season? Look no further than Old Sacramento where you are invited to take a family-friendly Old Sacramento Underground Tour! It’s not too late to plan a special outing given an expanded schedule Thanksgiving weekend plus an extended tour season that continues through the first two weekends in December!
Hidden beneath the city for nearly 150 years, Old Sacramento’s underground has long been the capital’s best-kept secret. Today, visitors have the unique opportunity to uncover the facts behind the legends that lie below historic buildings and sidewalks. For these hour-long guided walking tours, guests should check in at the Sacramento History Museum before descending below several historic Old Sacramento buildings. Participants should be prepared to walk in areas with uneven surfaces and low ceilings and get ready to learn and have fun all along the way!
Advance tickets are recommended and are available now at www.historicoldsac.org and for answers to frequently asked questions, visit www.historicoldsac.org/programs/programs-underground-faq.asp
