SACRAMENTO, CA - The CHP wants to catch whoever is throwing bricks into traffic on Highway 99 in the South Sacramento area. There have been at least two incidents in two days.

On Monday, someone tossed concrete chunks over a retaining wall and onto Highway 99, according to the CHP.

Then, someone tossed a brick onto northbound Highway 99 Tuesday around noon. Harvey Edrosolan believes it most likely came from from a pedestrian walkover or overpass.

Edrosolan was driving between 12th Avenue and 47th Avenue on Highway 99. He saw a brick hit the road in front of his car. It bounced, hit the hood of his car, and then his windshield.

"It happened in a matter of two seconds. That's it," said Edrosolan. "We stopped and pulled over to the side of the freeway."

He said his nerves are frayed. He was behind the wheel and his wife was in the passenger seat when the incident happened. Fortunately, they were not hurt.
