Second Annual Sacramento PAL Boot Camp

The Sacramento Police Athletic League is conducting the 2nd Annual Fitness Boot Camp for the youth of Sacramento. <?xml:namespace prefix = o />

The Sacramento Police Activities League is a community-based program providing healthy activities for kids, building self-esteem and promoting teamwork with police officers. SAC PAL offers educational and enrichment programs for local youth.

One such program is the Fitness Boot Camp.

World Team Tennis comes to Sacramento!

World Team Tennis comes to Sacramento with the meeting of the Sacramento Capitals and the Washington Kastles. They will meet in a series of matches between Eastern and Western Conference Championship powerhouses that feature Serena Williams in singles and doubles competition at Capitals Stadium, Sunrise Mall.

The California Automobile Museum in Sacramento, California, formerly the Towe Auto Museum is a very diverse collection of vehicles spanning many types and eras of automobile production. There is something for every auto enthusiast to enjoy. Displays range from the earliest vehicles produced by Ford to the latest types of alternative energy powered cars, foreign and domestic. Many cars are on loan to the museum and some are available for sale. If you love cars, this museum is a must see!

Teen, 16, caught driving parents to liquor store

SACRAMENTO, CA - Sacramento police cited a teen boy's parents for allowing him to drive them to a nearby liquor store Saturday night.

The boy drove through a police checkpoint on Florin Road and Franklin Boulevard just before 8:30 p.m., carrying his intoxicated parents, according to a Sacramento police spokesman.

The teen said he was taking them to a liquor store. Police cited the two adults for allowing their unlicensed son to drive.
